Farewell

Things have been a little quiet around here lately….. We spent most of the week back home saying good-bye to one of the most important people in my life – My Grandma. She passed away quietly at 92.
My Grandma was a huge part of my life and played an important role in my upbringing. She taught me how to cook, sew, garden and took me to church every Sunday and on Christmas Eve anytime I was at her house. She taught me the importance of always being a lady and always acting with respect and dignity.
We saw her in July when we made a last minute decision to attend a family function that we weren’t originally going to make it to. I can’t even describe how happy I am that we made that decision. I got to see her for the last time then.
I miss her already.
